Digital content creation and packaging design for Laura Cantú Jewelry. The work done for this brand included social media posts, stories, short animations and special sales advertising.
Embracing a brand that is both elegant and bold.
Along with the digital content came the possibility to create packaging design elements for a few of their products. The idea behind the visual approach was to create a graphic representation of the feeling the brand's jewelery portrays: boldness, elegance, and an acceptance for the unique.
Since stories are a constant and more direct communication to the users, the idea was to share more than just an image. There is a certain playfulness between type and imagery without losing the brand's sophisticated personality; there is energy and life portraying a strong presence on the platform. The content required approximately 50 stories p/week.
The monthly feed was designed considering all as a whole instead of regarding each post as individual. There is dynamism, energy and connection between each post; a story for the brand to communicate. All the posts designed for a month were presented to the client at once, to showcase the final image. Some of the designs created during those months are still employed and referenced now.
Some of the packaging elements designed were both for permanent products and limited-edition offers. A few of the projects displayed below include the packaging for subscription boxes, bag, tags and boxes for shot glasses, and box design for their plates. Important elements for the products were highlighted and used as a graphic resource for the packaging, as seen for the dinner plates where the design on their lips is mimicked on the box itself.
